Created by two enthusiasts in September 2024, Ozy is the first NFT collection launched on the Abstract Testnet. This collection was designed to immortalize a specific moment in time, the creation of the future first consumer blockchain. Initially intended to serve as a badge and memento for Abstract's first contributors and builders, it is also the first collection to implement minting with the AGW (Abstract Global Wallet).
Ozy was born from the shared vision of the two founders, Val & Loko, who aimed to create a collection that blended fun and tech. This is how this little green monster came to life both cute and degen while offering the community the opportunity to mint for the first time using an entirely new technology: the AGW. Before the wave of Premints, Presales, and Abstract FOMO, Ozy provided an intuitive and entirely free experience. Thanks to the implementation of the paymaster, Ozy became one of the first collections to offer a completely free minting experience, with no fees whatsoever.
In 2025, joined by RP (a developer who had already contributed his help and expertise for the collection's launch on the Testnet), Ozy launched "Absgard," a dApp that allows projects to bridge their collections from a Testnet to a Mainnet. This tool was initially developed to bridge the Ozy collection from the Abstract Testnet to its Mainnet. Staying true to the philosophy that gave birth to Ozy, the team decided to share this dApp to enable a wider audience and interested parties to bridge to Mainnet with this turnkey tool.
Although the team has always been clear and transparent about their ambitions and the collection's goals (Zero Budget, Zero KOL, Zero Promises), they have already delivered numerous collaborations and benefits for Ozy holders, as well as the creation of Absgard. Who knows what 2025 might bring...
